Meet The Doctor
Dr. Arnold Cochin received his Dental Degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1977, and completed a General Practice Residency at Marine Hospital in San Francisco, California in 1978. He maintains active involvement in both local and national dental organizations with membership in the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and New York County Dental Society. He has been awarded Fellowships in the following academies: Academy of General Dentistry, The New York Academy of Dentistry, The American College of Dentists, and The International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics. He was Assistant Clinical Professor of Prosthodontics at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine for 30 years, and was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the Honorary Dental Society. He was president of the New York Academy of Oral Rehabilitation, and participates in Donated Dental Services (providing pro bono dental care to the less fortunate). He has been included in Americas Top Dentists listing.
Skill and compassion go hand in hand when providing exceptional patient care. As a dental professional staying up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for his patients, he has completed over 1100 hours of continuing dental education courses. As a doctor, he recognizes that his patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in him and his team. That is just one reason why he values each and every patient relationship. Outside of his busy professional life Dr. Cochin lives in Manhattan with his wife Laurie.
